Directors Think Tank shoots moving film about a moving house for EdgeProp Singapore

THE EDGE_still 079.jpgThere's no such thing as a dream home. But there is a home that's right for you. That's the foundation for the film from EdgeProp Singapore that chronicles a couple's search for that ideal place. It's a whimsical spot where a house takes on a life of its own as the protagonists daydream about where their home should be.

It's part of EdgeProp's new rebranding campaign, 'Property Personalised' in collaboration with Bonsey Jaden and Directors Think Tank.

While Sling was first to take the reins on the shoot, she also had Rajay on board as the shoot date fell close to their baby's delivery date. And as luck would have it, little Aarriyann decided to move forward his hello to the world instead of letting his mum and dad move back the shoot.

THE EDGE_still 086.jpgTHE EDGE_still 107.jpgWith Sling injecting her art and soul into the pre-production process, Rajay took the helm at the shoot. Both of them knew that while they wanted to take the viewer on a whimsical journey, the heart of the story was still going to be about the couple - and how their real-life wishes, dreams and conflicts shape a home that's just right for them.

Rajay and Sling opted to take a very real approach to how it was shot - a two-tonne moving set, props on wheels and beautiful lighting made the talent feel the story and bring out the realism in each surreal moment.

Matters did get all too real however, when the set collapsed on the day of the shoot.

Opting not to compromise on the production by using camera trickery or post work, Directors Think Tank rebuilt the massive set and pulled off the shoot they set out to accomplish.

The EdgeProp spot has already received wide acclaim. And little Aarriyann continues to receive daily gushes of adoration from mum and dad.
