Australia picks up 36 finalists in next round of shortlist announcements for LIA 2017

MeetGraham.jpgLondon International Awards (LIA) has announced the shortlists for Branded Entertainment, Design, Package Design, Verbal Identity, Health & Wellness, Pharmaceuticals, Integration and Non-Traditional.

Australia has picked up four finalists in Branded Entertainment. AIRBAG leads the Aussie pack with two finalists for TAC ‘Meet Graham’. Clemenger BBDO has scored one finalist for TAC ‘Meet Graham’ and McCann Melbourne has picked up one finalist for University of Melbourne ‘Made Possible By Melbourne’.

In the Non-Traditional category Australia has scored six finalists led by Clemenger BBDO Melbourne with three finalists for TAC ‘Meet Graham’. AIRBAG has scored one finalist for University of Melbourne ‘Made Possible By Melbourne’. Leo Burnett Sydney has scored one finalist for Samsung Australia ‘Pocket Patrol’ and McCann Melbourne has picked up one finalist for University of Melbourne ‘Made Possible By Melbourne.

BMF Sydney is the only Aussie agency to pick up a finalist in the Verbal Identity category for Sportsbet ‘Putting the Roid in Android’.

The Integration category saw Australia score two finalists. Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has scored a finalist for TAC ‘Meet Graham’ and McCann Melbourne a finalist for University of Melbourne ‘Made Possible By Melbourne’.

McCann Melbourne leads the pack with three finalists – two finalists for YMCA ‘Playnasium’ and one for University of Melbourne ‘Made Possible By Melbourne’. Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has scored two for TAC ‘Meet Graham’ and AIRBAG has scored one for University of Melbourne ‘Made Possible By Melbourne’.

Health & Wellness saw Australia score eight finalists led by Clemenger BBDO Melbourne with four for TAC ‘Meet Graham’. Agencies scoring one finalist each include CHE Proximity for Cochlear ‘The Hearing Test In Disguise’, McCann Melbourne for YMCA ‘Playnasium’, Havas Sydney for Steve Waugh Foundation ‘The Riderless Bike’ and McCann Health Sydney for Metamucil ‘Poo Romance’.

Nine Australian entries made the cut in the Pharmaceutical shortlist. McCann Health Sydney scored three finalists for Metamucil ‘Poo Romance’, Filmgraphics Sydney scored three finalists for Parkinson’s NSW ‘The Hold’ and CHE Proximity scored three finalists for Cochlear ‘The Hearing Test In Disguise’.
