IMG_2158 (1).jpgSan Fransisco based Australian expat Sam Keene has kicked off the 2018/19 Young Glory season with a brief to resuscitate skateboarding.

Keene is lead user experience engineer at Google, with former stints at YouTube, R/GA New York, Soap Creative and Ogilvy.

Says Brendan Graham, co-founder, Young Glory: “Young Glory is all about proving your versatility across 8 months, 8 briefs and 8 world-class judges.

“Sam reflects exactly the kind of judge I want our participants submitting their work to. He’s literally building the future at Google. He even wrote ‘the book’ on VR. At the same time, he also understands how to approach communication and advertising challenges.”

Responses to the first brief are due at the end of September.

Australian dominated last season of Young glory, with three Aussie teams from Ogilvy Sydney, Banjo and BMF taking out the Top 3 professional spots.
