Google and AWARD School in partnership
Googlehas today been named the new principal sponsor of AWARD SchoolAustralia and New Zealand, a 16-week course which teaches copywritersand art directors how to create big advertising ideas. The partnershipis founded on Google’s belief in creativity and innovation, andthe importance this plays in creating effective and unique ways toconnect with people.

The AWARD School part-time course starts in March and will run in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Hobart, Wellington, Singapore, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. A very, very interesting coupling. When it comes to creativity, I think we both have a lot to learn from each other.
This partnership certainly makes practical sense since a great number of AWARD school folios I have seen in the past few years have relied heavily on Google’s amazing search capabilities to provide them with unattributed ideas from all around the world.

Call me old-skool, but i really liked the fact that News Limited had been a long standing supporter of AWARD School. Google makes sense coz it’s hip and youthful and creative, but i thought a company like news ltd supporting young creatives was a good investment. but good work in securing google. and thanks news ltd for all the years…
