There's something unique about it. I can't believe it's a scripted piece, looks very credible and authentic...at least to an outsider. would like to see more...

Looks brilliant. Where was it shot? One thing - the guy in the beard throwing a molotov cocktail at the Israeli soldiers looks more Israeli than Palestinian to me.

Anonymous said:

Interesting -- because he really is from the West Bank. Authenticity was key. Glad everyone is enjoying it!

Was anyone killed on the shoot?

Was this shot in Israel? It looks great.

christ it's not that amazing. it's bloody good but stop fawning over it - you're embarrassing yourselves

Wow, that would have to be a record. Didn't count but that was the most love I've seen on this blog for ages. The last blogger should be feeling really stink or really good depending largely on whether they work at Colenso or not.

Like 2.36, I too am unimpressed by it. As an idea it's ok. But as a piece of film it seems contrived and badly directed.
A few minutes research followed by a minor session on YouTube would reveal that the Israeli Defence Force never engages in front line work like that. They follow the US Army Rules Of Engagment, which states that on once making contact with the enemy in a built up area uninhabited by civilians, you call up an F-16 and drop a 500lb JDAM on the area. Similarly, any ground troops would be supported by Cobra gunships hovering just above them. Likewise, above the helo's would be one of the Israeli UAV's giving a real time sitrep's to the commanders nearby.
All up, those Palestinians would have little chance, especially the one firing his AK47 wildly down the street. Personally, I would have called in one of the gunships and split him in two with some good ol' .50 cal. You wouldn't see too many more Hamas martyrs venturing unprotected into the streets like that again.
And finally. Architecture. Wrong building materials. Unconvincing. Once again, YouTube has the answers.
