Thieves’ Woodhead takes Berlin

Leo Woodhead_Emily barclayjpg-WEB.jpgFollowing on from the international recognition and acclaim of his groundbreaking short film ‘Cargo’, and his selection as a finalist in the 2009 Award / Kodak New Director of the Year, new Thick As Thieves director Leo Woodhead’s second short film ‘Zero’ is currently receiving international attention screening in official selection at the 2010 Berlin Film Festival.

Zero-web.jpgIn between making ‘Zero’ and working for Killer Films in New York, Woodhead has had his plate full for the past year but he is now finally available to focus on commercials. Says TAT EP Nik Beachman: “As an accomplished writer/director of cinematic and challenging narrative short films Leo is undeniably one of the most vibrant new talents in NZ film-and his aspirations as a commercial director are just as bold as his film work to date.”
