Look signs four world-class photographers for representation throughout the region

“Look’sstrong international and local production record and our extensivemarketing and producing work in Asia for 18 years is something that hasenabled us to consistently attract major photographers,” says Lookfounder and EP Guy Venables, who recently stepped back in to dailymanagement of Look after focussing on starting a new internationaldirector’s venture in Asia called Nomad International. Venables isSydney based but works between Australia, NZ and Asia.

Recently Icreated formal tie-ups with local producers and production companies sowe are able to produce stills and TVC shoots anywhere in Asia withease. The signing of these top four photographers creates a solid lineup in Look which already manages some of Australia and NZ’s leadinginternational photographers. This week we added staff in our Sydney andMelbourne offices as well, so all in all there is quite a buzz at Lookwith so much new energy about,” says Venables.

It was not long before her work caught the eye of PaulMarciano owner of Guess Jeans which led to her shooting the famous AnnaNicole Smith campaign which launched her career internationally.Currently living between New York and Sydney her glamorous andcinematic style of work takes her around the world shooting in exoticdestinations such as India, Cuba, Japan, Brazil, Egypt, and thoughoutEurope and Asia. She has shot campaigns for clients for La Perla, DeBeers, Samsung, Pasperley, BMW, Nike, Patrick Cox with Liz Hurley aswell as TVC work for clients such as Guess, Ellesse, Olay, Coke andKayser. Federici’s celebrity work as a photographer or director ofmusic clips includes working with Prince, Lenny Kravitz, Radiohead,Eve, Mariah Carey, Catherine Zeta Jones, Liz Hurley, Sharon Stone,Debby Harry, Queen Rania of Jordan, Liza Minelli, Sarah Jessica Parker,James McEvoy to name a few.

Garry Owens is one of London’sbiggest names in commercial advertising photography and in January thisyear moved his life and family to Australia. Owens has been shootinglarge scale ad campaigns for 22 years. Recent international brandclients include Visa International, BMW, Volvo, Saab, Ford, Chevrolet,Levis, and Sony to name a few.

Jeremy Hudson Guinness.jpegJeremy Hudson founded Depot 14,one of London’s largest specialist studios and has been shootingprofessionally for 17 years. He moved to Australia in January 2010 andis based in Sydney. He was one of the very first photographers inEurope to embrace digital photography and has been shooting digitallysince 1997. Hudson has established himself as an internationalspecialist in  premium spirits, beer, ice, soft, drinks, food, liquidmovement and still life. His client list reads like a well stockeddrinks cabinet having shot campaigns for major international brandssuch as Jim Beam, Jameson Whisky, Johnny Walker, Guinness, Budweiser,Carlsberg, Tanquaray Ten, Bacardi, Strongbow, Pallini, Coke, Baileys,Luovic Vodka , Smirnoff, Gordons, Absolut, Chivas to name a few.

FlorianGroehn has been creating images for advertising and fashion for thelast eight years. He was born in Germany but has been mainly shootingin Australia where he has picked up 4 awards from the AIPP for hiswork. Over time Groehn has built a reputation for producing highquality and innovative imagery with a strong conceptual edge for a widerange of high profile clients”
