AdFest Lotus winners announced online

Funeral.jpgThe Lotus winners of the long-delayed AdFest judging are now online on the AdFest site.

The Best of Film went to Leo Burnett/Arc Singapore for the Ministry of Community Development, Youth And Sports “Funeral” spot – which recently won a two Gold Lions for Craft at Cannes.

In the Innova category Dentsu Tokyo’s Uniqlo Lucky Switch won the Grand Innova. The same campaign won Best in Cyber.

3m_Marble.jpgThe Grande 360 Award for the 360 Lotus category was won by DDB Auckland for the Moro ‘4th Best’ campaign.

ACE Saatchi & Saatchi Manila picked up the Best in Print for Vespa “Our Ride She Hated”.

Creative Juice Bangkok picked up the Best in Posters for 3M Cushion Wrap “Marble” (pictured left).

The Best of Outdoor award went to GT Inc Tokyo for Japanese New Year’s Cards “Hills Post 2009”

Contract Advertising won the Best in Direct for Sanctuary Asia Magazine “Donkey Thrashes Tiger”

Overall, Bangkok won the highest number of Gold, Silver and Bronze Lotuses in Film, winning 9 of a total 33 Lotus awards. Agencies and production companies in Sydney and Melbourne won 7 Film Lotuses, on par with Tokyo, while Mumbai walked away with 7 Lotuses in the Film category. In total, there were 8 Gold, 13 Silver and 21 Bronze Film Lotuses awarded this year, plus 1 Best of Film, from a total of 464 entries.
