DDB New Zealand named Spikes Asia Agency of the Year; DDB awarded Network of the Year; Colenso BBDO Auckland named Media Agency of the Year; UNIQLO Advertiser of the Year; six of the seven Grand Prix won by OZ/NZ agencies

Screen shot 2010-09-21 at 1.25.09 AM.pngDDB New Zealand took out Agency of the Year at the Spikes Asia Awards tonight in Singapore, and was a major contributor to DDB being named Network of the Year.

Colenso BBDO Auckland took out the Media Agency of the Year title and was placed 3rd for Agency of the Year. Sister BBDO shop Clemenger BBDO, Melbourne was placed second for Agency of the Year.

Leo Burnett was placed second in the Network of the Year table, followed by BBDO. Advertiser of the Year was awarded to UNIQLO.

Australia and New Zealand were the big winners at the Spikes AsiaAwards, with six of the seven Grand Prix awarded on the night goingdown under.

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne won the TV/Cinema Grand Prix for CarltonDraght ‘Slow Mo’ as well as the Radio Grand Prix for the Chum Dog Foodcampaign; Colenso BBDO, Auckland took out the Media Grand Prix forYellow Pages ‘Yellow Chocolate’ as well as the Outdoor Grand Prix forTVNZ’s The Pacific ‘Dog Fight’ campaign; while Leo Burnett, Sydney wonthe Direct & Sales Promotion Grand Prix for Canon ‘Photochains’ andtheir WWF ‘Space Monkey’ commercial won the TV/Cinema Craft Grand Prixfor Revolver Films.
