Leo Burnett Sydney takes out Direct & Sales Promotion Grand Prix for Canon ‘Photochains’ campaign at Spikes Asia Awards in Singapore

Screen shot 2010-09-22 at 7.45.43 AM.pngLeo Burnett, Sydney won the Direct & Sales Promotion Grand Prix at the Spikes Asia Awardstonight for their Canon ‘Photochains’ campaign, which won the Cannes Media Lions Grand Prix in back in June.

It was a golden night for Australia and New Zealand, which dominated the category. Three Gold awards went to the Coastguard NZ ‘Live Rescue’ campaign via DDB New Zealand; Gold also went to Orcon Broadband ‘Orcon + Iggy’ via Special Group, Auckland; Guide Dogs Australia ‘Support Scent’ via Clemenger BBDO, Melbourne; Tooheys New ‘Beer is Currency’ via Saatchi & Saatchi, Sydney; Toyota 4WD ‘Nothing soft gets in’ via Saatchi & Saatchi, Sydney; and Canon ‘Photochains’ via Leo Burnett, Sydney.

Silver awards were presented to Guide Dogs Australia ‘Support Scent’via Clemenger BBDO, Melbourne; Kit-Kat ‘Chairs’ via JWT Auckland;Yellow Pages ‘Yellow Chocolate’ via Colenso BBDO, Auckland; two Silversto Orcon Broadband ‘Orcon + Iggy’ via Special Group, Auckland; andToyota 4WD ‘Nothing soft gets in’ via Saatchi & Saatchi, Sydney.

Bronze went to TVNZ ‘Virginity Map’ via AIM Proximity, Auckland; and Canon ‘Photo5’ via Leo Burnett, Sydney.
