Special Group creative director Tony Bradbourne appointed 2011 NZ Axis Convenor of Judges

Special Group, Auckland creative director Tony Bradbourne has been appointed 2011 NZ Axis Awards Convenor of Judges, the first ever convenor of judges selected from an independent agency.

CAANZ CEO Rick Osborne says, after Special’s impressive display at Axis 2010, Bradbourne was an obvious choice and one that was endorsed by fellow creative directors: “Tony joins an impressive list of creative directors who have taken on the role, including Toby Talbot and Andy Blood.”

“The addition of international judges has taken Axis to a new level and, from a personal point of view, I thought last year’s Axis was pretty damn good. That said, I look forward to seeing what else I can bring to the table”, said Bradbourne.

Axis chairman, Y&R Auckland CEO, John Ramage will team up with Bradbourne in bringing Axis 2011 to life, which will take place in Auckland on March 31, 2011.
