Phase Two of the campaign kicks off this weekend, when the ‘Crusty Challenge’ goes live on Saturday at 12pm AEDT (9am local time).

Contestants from across the State will log onto the Crusty Challenge site via webcam and battle it out to see who can meet the challenges issued and stay online the longest. The winner will be crowned the 2010 Crusty Champion and stagger off to bed ten grand richer.

Even The West Australian’s Rob Broadfield was impressed enough to feature the campaign in his INSIDE COVER column – which is read by over 200,000 West Australians daily – declaring that “if you want a lesson in viral advertising you need go no further than the Mrs Mac’s Lean Meat Crusty Top Campaign which has quietly become one of the most watched videos in Australia.”
