The International ANDY Awards, in partnership with Victors & Spoils, has launched a campaign called ‘Montage Me’ to promote its annual call for entries.

Submissions for the best work of 2010 are now being accepted until Friday January 7, 2011.

The ‘Montage Me’ concept stood out among the thousand entries submitted to this year’s ‘Call for Entries’ Challenge for its ability to inspire creatives worldwide to enter their best work.

The campaign will run online on Facebook and in digital ad banners through January 7, 2011. ‘Montage Me’ was selected by Evan Fry, Chief Creative Officer of Victors & Spoils and ANDYs co-chairmen Ty Montague, founder of Co:Collective, and Michael Lebowitz, CEO of Big Spaceship.

The campaign’s creators are Michael Williams, Copywriter; Jyn Yi, Art Director; and Justin Gilman, Art Director, all from Leo Burnett’s Energy Pool – a recently formed group of international young creatives from the best ad and design schools around the world. This winner of the ANDY Challenge fills a seat on the prestigious 2011 ANDY Awards Jury; Williams will represent his esteemed Energy Pool colleagues in this role.

“Collaborating with the ANDYs gave us an opportunity to work with some of the most brilliant minds in advertising,” said Yi and Williams. “It’s been an honor to have this experience so early on in our careers.”

The campaign’s production was a creative collaboration between Leo Burnett and its marketing services arm Arc Worldwide, as well as Tool of North America, Comma, Optimus and Victors & Spoils.

“The idea to open up to the world the call for entries idea was a great one, and unfortunately I can’t take credit for that. It was all Ty and Michael and the ANDYs’,” said Fry. “We at V&S were happy to help run and groom the contest, selecting and directing the entries and facilitating the challenge. It was crazy how many ideas came in. Probably because the award was so great – not only would your idea be produced as the official call for entries idea, but you’d also win the last coveted spot on the 2011 ANDYs jury alongside the biggest players in the industry. I just hope the winner doesn’t say anything stupid to Goodby or Keller.”

This marks the first global “Call for Entries” Challenge for The ANDYs, a successful creative contest that ran for one month on the Victors & Spoils’ digital platform Squirrel Fight and invited people worldwide to submit original ideas. The effort was designed to open new doors for the creative leaders of the future and increase global involvement in the ANDY Awards.
