Christchurch hopes to have a smashing Xmas thanks to Restaurant Association of NZ

To get things started, they’ve made a mobile billboard, created by Auckland agency Hotfoot, made of all the bits of broken plates and glass from the hardest-hit bars and cafes. They’ve done it with the help of a team of people including Christchurch artist Donna Steel, Pataka Pottery owner Maureen Johnston and some very willing art students. They also put the call out to the public through a radio campaign.
