Robber’s Dog director Sam Peacocke’s debut short film Manurewa has won a Crystal Bear for Best Short Film in the Generation Program at the 61st Berlin Film Festival.
The judges were impressed with the work saying: “in a very short time this film synthesizes and skillfully compresses independent storylines and characters, merging them together into a single, irrevocable, ever-changing moment.”
Manurewa tells the story of the tragic murder of Manurewa liquor store owner Navtej Singh.

Where can I pay for and download this short film? I live in Korea but would like to show it to my high school students. NZ On Screen will not let me even watch it online (something about my current location).
