CAANZ Axis Awards 2011 shortlist revealed – Colenso BBDO, Auckland leads the agency pack
It took 50 judges 3 days to view over 650 entries across 43 categories and now CAANZ has released the 31st New Zealand AXIS 2011 finalists.
Colenso BBDO, Auckland leads the agency pack with 75 finalists, ahead of DDB New Zealand with 55 and DraftFCB Auckland with 49.
Special Group, Auckland is at #4 with 19 finalists followed by TBWA\Tequila, Auckland with 15 and Ogilvy Auckland with 12.
Says Convenor of Judges, Special Group, Auckland’s Tony Bradbourne (left): “A big thank you to all who gave their time to help judge – it was great to have such a broad spectrum of talent giving their opinion of the entries. Now it’s over to the international judges.”
Things are building nicely towards a stellar AXIS week, including the Creative Function on Wednesday 30 March and the 31st AXIS Award show on Thursday 31 March at Vector Arena.
The AXIS show is going to be a hot ticket item again this year and will sell-out. Be sure to get in quick to avoid disappointment.
