Countdown to AWARD Awards: Digital, Creative Innovation and Integrated finalists announced

Erik Vervroegen_chairman.JPGIain_McDonald_chairman.jpgAWARD, powered by The Communications Council, has released the AWARD Awards finalists in the Digital, Integrated and Creative Innovation categories.

The finalists are the last to be announced prior to the AWARD awards taking place this Friday.

 

Iain McDonald (top right) from Amnesia Razorfish is chairing the Digital category, while the Creative Innovation & Integrated category is headed up by the AWARD awards Chairman of Judges Erik Vervoegen (above left) from Goodby Silverstein and Partners, San Francisco. 

In the Integrated category, Leo Burnett Sydney has three finalists, with two finalists apeice to Clemenger BBDO, Melbourne, Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney and Colenso BBDO, Auckland.

There are only three finalists in Creative Innovation, one each going to Happy Soldiers, Sydney, Three Drunk Monkey Sydney and Ogilvy & Mather, Japan.

George Patterson Y&R Melbourne and Host Sydney leads the Digital category, with four finalists apiece, followed by JWT Sydney, DDB Melbourne, Leo Burnett Sydney and SpecialGroup Auckland with three finalists each. Mojo Sydney has two finalists.

Ninety judges from across the Asia Pacific have been tasked with selecting this year’s hotly contested AWARD awards, celebrating the region’s most brilliant creative endeavours.

 

The Awards presentation event will take place this Friday 25 February at CarriageWorks, in Sydney – the culmination of The Communications Council’s Festival of Commercial Creativity ‘Circus’ (February 23-25).
