As well as awarding the Titanium and Integrated Lions, this jury will also award the Grand Prix for Good. Launched last year, the honour is bestowed to the best entry selected from all the Gold Lion winners in the charities and public services categories, which are ineligible to win their category Grand Prix.

Says Scarpelli: “I am truly honored to chair this prestigious Titanium and Integrated Jury as we pay tribute to and celebrate the ideas, the creativity and the people who are leading our industry forward.”

During his 34-year career at DDB, Scarpelli has overseen some of the most iconic, talked-about and awarded creative work in the world. Inspiring ideas and creative business solutions that transcend advertising to become part of popular culture is at the heart of his vision for his clients and for DDB, where the core belief is that creativity is the most powerful force in business.

Under his leadership, DDB has created a large network of award-winning and innovative agencies which, based on creative output, have been named Agency of the Year in more than 25 countries, including by Campaign Brief in Australia and New Zealand. In addition, DDB has been recognised as the top creative network by Advertising Age, Adweek, Campaign, Creativity and The Gunn Report. A strong performer at all the major awards, DDB has won the most Lions and the most Grands Prix in the history of the International Advertising Festival at Cannes.

Scarpelli has served as president of both the Cannes Lions Film and Press juries in 2007 as well as chaired other main international shows.

Terry-Savage.jpg“We are delighted to welcome Bob back to Cannes this year, where he will chair an impressive international jury,” says Terry Savage, chairman of Cannes Lions.

“The Titanium and Integrated category at Cannes Lions has become key to where the industry is heading and as such the belief that Bob and his fellow judges have towards creativity and breakthrough ideas, is paramount to the future of the industry,”

Delegates can view all the entries in the Titanium and Integrated section while judging takes place in Cannes during the Festival week. The winners will be announced on Saturday 25 June.
