The Lynx Excite Angels have fallen in London’s Victoria station… and repeated the feat on the weekend at the Birmingham Bullring.

Surely the lamest flashmob/VR/whatever ever.
The obvious plants seem to know how to interact, but one wonders how?
Who is going to see this shit?
The Youtube views are pathetic.
12.41.
Yes. I’m sure that 12pp dm brochure you’re working on will be much more effective.
wow 12.41 you really don’t get it do you. Who cares about youtube – 80 million passengers pass through Victoria Station a year (that’s over 200,000 a day). And all the you tube clip did is prove how effective it was. And no I don’t work for the UK agency, but it’s a brilliant idea. Go work in a coffee shop you moron.
12:41 – You are a bitter twat.
What they said…oh, and I know where you live 12:41.
like it
People at a railway station in a documentary-style two minute ad. Nothing new here.
Yeah 12.41, all of my friends who don’t work in advertising (I”m fron London) are talking about this.. . . . . oh wait a minute, they’re not at all, they haven’t got a clue it happened. Like so many of these things.
fail
Gee wizz, you really don’t get it do you? What don’t you understand? It’s not the video that is is the ‘ad’. It’s the ‘stunt’ at Victoria station. How can you not get that? Are you really that stupid?
Angel Station was being refurbished?
3.12 yes, we know that’s the idea, but who the fuck would want to watch that?
Imagine it was a shot ad. It would be getting its arse kicked from here to kingdom bloody come for being ‘lame’.
3.12pm
I think you’ll find that the video is very much ‘the ad’. Which is why BBH sent a camera crew and director along to capture all that footage and post it on sites like youtube etc
That’s how these things work. If nobody gets to hear about this event, outside of those who were actually at Waterloo station, then stunts like this would be pointless..
It’s a nice idea, I quite like it. But I do wonder how many of those people are real commuters. As a Brit myself, I really don’t think the everyday public would be prepared to make such twats of themselves in public like that.
Exactly my point, 5:22. Thanks for putting it so clearly. Advertising is a mass-market activity, it’s not live stunts that the fortunate few who happened to be passing at the time were lucky enough to see. That’d be why the agency captured it for all to see in mass forums. The only unconventional thing is it wasn’t a 30 second TV ad. But I wouldn’t call posting something on web sites like uTube etc exactly unconventional either these days. It’s pretty much standard stuff.
6.12pm
How can you possibly not be aware that this execution is part of a much bigger campaign that has already been covered off in TV?

Do you actually work in advertising?
Jeez.
same thing only this means something no?

Sorry I missed that, 8:54, and I watch more TV than most. What country did it run in?

Thanks 11:07, but I guess you missed the sarcasm in my rhetorical question. Being based in Australia, I don’t watch English television.

Being based in Australia is no excuse. You are simply lazy
