Share the Joy is a project aiming to create a song made entirely out of New Zealand’s sounds of joy.
Over the past 6 months DDB New Zealand has been collecting sounds from all over the country.
Now, with a little help from Bobby McFerrin, the agency is taking all of these joy samples and turning them into the first Glass and a Half Full Production made by an entire nation.

And the very first line, ‘Have you ever wondered what joy sounds like?’
Erm, no, not once, not ever. All a bit contrived, ain’t it? Has Cadbury’s totally given up on trying to sell chocolate? Or do they sell speakers these days?
Spot on 4.26. Couldn’t agree more.
Another ‘participation’ idea.
I’m bored of them already.

What s it with DDB and sounds? VW in Sydney and Cadbury in NZ. Very similar.
Brave? How is it brave?
I think this is a lovely idea which if executed properly will bring a lot of smiles across the faces of NZ people. And sooner or later, they’ll probably buy a Cadbury bar because of it.
Nice work.
