The Otrivin Nasal Spray campaign via Saatchi & Saatchi, Switzerland highlights the fact that you look dumb when you breathe through your mouth thanks to your blocked nose.
The spots have a strong Aussie/Kiwi connection: chief creative officer is Derek Green, co-writer is Maureen McCabe and executive agency producer is Scott McBurnie – all Aussies. The spot was directed by Aussie Sam Holst via NZ headquartered production company The Sweet Shop.

One of the Art Directors, Lisa McLeod, is also an Australian. She even speaks french with an strong Aussie accent…

I think the strategy is great. Very fresh. A true insight. A million times better than any other ad I’ve seen for nasal sprays. I’d certainly remember this because of it’s creativity.
