inlink.jpgInlink, Australia’s largest digital out-of-home network, is throwing down the gauntlet to Australia’s media industry to get behind Dogtober.

The entire month of October is dedicated to celebrating all dogs across the country, but particularly to raise much needed funds and awareness for Assistance Dogs Australia who train dogs, from when they are just puppies, to help people with physical disabilities.

dogtober.jpgSays Peter Hunter, commercial director, Inlink: “It costs Assistance Dogs Australia $26,000 per puppy to train, and as there is a great need for more and more of these super dogs, we decided Inlink should get involved.”

Inlink will encourage support to help raise funds by donating a percentage of all campaigns booked with Inlink during the month of October, directly to Assistance Dogs Australia.

Richard Lord, from Assistance Dogs Australia said: “We are thrilled that Inlink have come on board to support Assistance Dogs Australia and Dogtober.  We hope this will encourage others to join the cause, helping us to raise enough to train another 25 Super Puppies to give freedom and independence to people with physical disabilities.”
