D&AD to present the Yellow Pencil winners at an exclusive event in London on Thursday 19 April
2012 marks D&AD’s 50th anniversary. To commemorate this D&AD is shaking things up a little this year.
For the first time ever, D&AD will be announcing the Yellow Pencil winners at an exclusive event on Thursday 19 April where each award will be presented by the Jury Foreman.
The winning work will be showcased in a surround-sound experience at London’s Imax theatre for press, nominees and the judges. They’ll gain a rare insight into the judges’ decisions as the Foreman reveals the near-misses, the controversial winners and why each piece deserved to win the Yellow Pencil.
Tickets will then go on sale for our main event of the year, D&AD/50. This event will honour the lives and talents that have shaped the creative industry over the past 50 years and reveal this year’s Black Pencil winners.
