Brisbane agency The Hoopla Family creates their own topical Queensland Election Survival Guide

Hoop 3.jpgBrisbane agency The Hoopla Family created a very handy Election Survival Guide that aimed to take some of the sting out of the latest QLD Election.

Showing their true political colours (by taking the piss out of everyone), the Hoopla Family’s survival guide was sent out a few days before the election through the agency’s mailing list, and was spread amongst friends of the agency across all social media platforms.

hoop 2.jpgTo add to this, by a great coincidence, a polling booth was set up directly across the road from the Hoopla Family’s office. Not being ones to sit idly on a great opportunity, the hoopla’s used their large front windows as their own personal billboards, printing the Election Guide out on 1m x 1.5m paper and putting them up for the thousands of voters to read as they rolled up on Saturday morning to cast their (now very knowledgeable, thanks to the Hoopla Family) vote.

intended.”

With the Election Guide being shared hundreds of times over various social media platforms, as well as viewed by thousands of voters during election time, it’s suffice to say that the hoopla family’s self-promotion has worked a treat. With the whole thing costing no more than a creative team’s spare time, it turned out to be a pretty cost-effective way to promote the local creative agency that never shies away from a challenge!
