Tractor Design School now open for 2012 courses in Sydney and Melbourne starting 6th February

tractor 3.jpgApplications open today for Tractor Design School, now offering courses in Sydney and Melbourne starting on 6 February 2012.

In Sydney they are offering part-time Industry programs in Graphic Design and Digital Design. The courses are taught by influential industry figures including Justin Smith (End of Work), Zoe Pollitt (Eskimo), Mark Stott (Common Design) and Nick Morgan (Generation Alliance).

For the first time, Tractor is now offering an Industry Graphic Design course in Melbourne.

Like the Sydney course, the Melbourne course exposes the students to creatives and studio’s from the Melbourne design community. The inaugural Melbourne course includes a line up of teachers including Garry Emery (Emery Studio), Brett Phillips (3 Deep Design), Jim Antonopoulos (Tank Branding) and Michaela Webb (Studio Round). More names will be released in the coming weeks.

Written in consultation with industry and delivered by industry, the Tractor programs are studio based, fast paced and entirely practical. The course covers a range of essential skills by combining practical skills such as brand development, typography, advertising and information design with essential studio skills including strategic planning, studio management, time management, budgeting and how to interpret client briefs and present your ideas.

With only 10 places available spaces are strictly limited and applications are only open for a short time.
