Payback adshel.jpgForgot to pay your mate for that beer he shouted you last week? Thanks to Tequila\, ANZ now has the solution having recently launched the ANZ goMoney Payback campaign which reimburses up to $1,000 of IOUs each day.

The campaign’s protaganist, Curtis Black, a suave secret agent, is on a mission to track down people who need payback. Customers are invited to go online, describe their IOU and who it’s owed to for the chance of a payback from Curtis via ANZ goMoney. There is $1,000 up for grabs each day over a two-week period.

The Facebook campaign was created by Tequila\ to drive new registrations for the ANZ goMoney mobile banking app.

Facebook form.jpgANZ goMoney was the first banking app to bring the ‘pay-to-mobile’ function to New Zealand which enables users to transfer money to a friend’s account anywhere and anytime using just their mobile number.

The Payback campaign is ANZ’s latest offering for the goMoney app, adding to the smart, simple user interface and innovative functionality that has already received numerous awards and accolades including the 2011 IDC Financial Insights Innovation Award, the 2011 CANSTAR Innovation in Financial Services award, the 2011 Trailblazer Award from Banking & Payments Asia and the 2011 Innovative Retail Banking Product of the Year in the Australian Banking & Finance Magazine Awards.
