send a paper.jpgThe Newspaper Publishers’ Association of New Zealand’s “Send a paper” topical newspaper ad has been announced as the winner of this year’s Could Be a Caxton competition, established by the Caxton Committee, supported by The Newspaper Works and created by Special Group to recognise and showcase great creativity on a bi-monthly basis.

The winning entry was selected by the chairman of the Caxton Committee, Justin Drape.

Says Drape: “The standout piece of the year’s Could Be a Caxton entries was “Send a paper” by Special Group. The others were all great, however, I felt the message being portrayed here was really clever.”

The winning copywriter and art director receive an all-expenses paid trip to the 2012 Caxton Seminar and Awards to be held at Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays from October 12 – 14.

The October/November Could Be a Caxton competition is now open for entries. It’s free to enter and anyone can submit nominations. The copywriter and art director responsible for the newspaper campaign judged best of the year’s Could Be a Caxton bi-monthly winning ads, will score an all expenses-paid trip to the 2013 Caxton Awards.
