Cannes Lions launches new Innovation Lions in 2013 to reward technologies and innovations

CannesLion-279x300-thumb-400x430-101127.jpgThis year, Cannes Lions has launched a new entry section, the Innovation Lions, celebrating more than a campaign or communications idea. The section champions technologies and innovations that could help drive communications forward.   

 

To mark the new category, they’re giving all Cannes Lions delegates the chance to get inside the judging process and uncover the most innovative new ideas. Find out more about the new section here.         

The judging process for the Innovations Lions is unparalleled at the Festival. Delegates have the chance to sit in on sessions on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 June to see presentations in front of the jury from the shortlisted candidates. It means you can uncover more about the most innovative ideas and new technologies and get first-hand insight into what it takes to win in the section.

The deadline for entering the new Innovation Lions is 28 March, so there is still time to complete entries and get the opportunity to showcase work to not only the jury of world-class experts, but also an audience of the creative communication industry’s key decision makers.

 

Over seven days in June each year the whole creative industry comes together to learn from the best and celebrate the work changing the communications landscape.
