Andrew Davie departs Red Fuse New York for MD role at Wunderman Australia and New Zealand

Wunderman Australia - Andrew Davie.jpgAndrew Davie has been appointed managing director of Wunderman Australia and New Zealand.

An integrated communications and advertising specialist with over 18 years of experience, Davie joins Wunderman Australia from New York, where he was the North America managing director at Red Fuse Communications, WPP’s full-service integrated global agency dedicated to serving all of Colgate-Palmolive’s brands worldwide.

Prior to Red Fuse, Davie was at Y&R where he was the account managing director for Colgate Asia Pacific from 2003 to 2008. During that time, he was instrumental in the expansion into China where he partnered extensively with AGENDA, a Wunderman company.

An idea focused executive, Davie started his advertising career at The Campaign Palace in Sydney, and has worked on global brands in New York with Darcy Masius Benton & Bowles and Berlin Cameron, along with running the integrated communications division for Photon in Australia.

Davie is based in Sydney and responsible for Wunderman operations in Sydney, Melbourne and New Zealand. His mandate at Wunderman includes further developing digital and CRM capabilities.  In addition, he will leverage strong synergies with Bienalto, a recent strategic acquisition made last year, to drive advanced data analytics and optimization of user experiences for all clients. Davie reports directly to Faggianelli.

Davie brings to the role a comprehensive understanding of the Asia Pacific region as well as strong integrated expertise on international brands and managing senior client engagements. His client portfolio includes brands such as Procter & Gamble, Reebok International, Jim Beam Brands, Coca Cola, Accenture and H&R Block.
