Sky invites you on an epic adventure in latest blockbuster campaign via DDB New Zealand

SKY's latest TV and in cinema spot via DDB New Zealand rolls out like a blockbuster, a cast of sexy adulterer, brooding hero and smart ape narrate a poem of shock, love and wonder, ending with the intriguing invite - Come with us...

Flying pigs, flaky superheroes and heroic All Blacks soar, fall and score against impressive scenery in a spot which boasts SKY's rich world of content. The spot encourages viewers to not just watch SKY - but join in, to be a part of it, be right in the thick of it.

Says Andy Fackrell, DDB executive creative director: "We're really excited for the way forward for SKY. The ad is all about creating intrigue, the quality of storytelling and strong character development."

The DDB spot combines cinematic images with emotive poetry which explores our quest to ride the thrills and disappointments of our sporting endeavours, to laugh with the funny, cry with the tragic, and search out both the dark corners and the bright spots of our human story.

Thankfully they've moved on from the Talbot rug-pull at the end of every ad. If they're trying to make SKY feel more epic and quality, it's a good start.
