young glory.jpgYoung Glory, touted as ‘the international creative consistency awards platform’ has today launched into its third season since its inauguration in 2011.

Young Glory has also added a new Design category which will follow the same model as the existing Advertising category: 8 months, 8 briefs, 8 different big name judges from across the world, with participants accumulating points each round.

R/GA Regional ECD David Brown is kicking off the Advertising cateogry with a brief about wearable technology. Whilst Leland Mashmeyer, Partner and ECD at Collins in New York, is launching the design cateogry with a brief about designing better healthcare.

Particpants have till the end of October to respond. Round 2 will then begin in November, with JWT Singapore CCO Valerie Cheng and Raison Pure Design Director Harry Chong slated to be judges.

About Young Glory

Young Glory is the only worldwide creativity competition devoted to creative consistency. It is also your chance to get work in front of a big industry name every month.

“8 months. 8 briefs. 8 big name judges.” Each month, between October and May, a different industry leader sets and judges his/her own monthly brief.

Advertising and Design are the two cateogries you can participate in. Each category has separate judges and points accumulation.

Students and Professionals compete monthly in separate categories to win Gold, Silver, Bronze or Finalist spots. You can participate in one, several or all months.

Earn points for every accolade you win over the 8 rounds (see the points system). At the end of the Young Glory season, the industry’s most consistent creative talent will be crowned.
