Says Michael Cook, Feds EP: “We’re really excited about Henry and Kacie and what their skills bring to the team. They each already have significant achievements for their writing and directing across commercials, short films and longer form projects. They’re bright, nimble and incredibly talented.”

Director and writer Anning is a performance-driven comedy director who launched her career early on with a number of award winning short films, music videos and documentaries, with her full body of work created at AFTRS earning her the Foxtel Scholarship for Exceptional New Talent award.

In 2012, Anning successfully crowd funded the production of her six-part web series Fragments of Friday, which she wrote, directed and starred in. The series is getting a much-anticipated online release in 2014 with a 2nd series being optioned by Southern Star. Her raw and honest approach to comedy writing positions her as a fresh new talent with an eye for extracting the absurd.

Australian born Zalapa has spent the last decade working in London, Los Angeles and New York. With 13 years of film and television experience under his belt, he has worked across all platforms including film, television and music videos.

His latest short film Submerged premiered at Australia’s only Academy Award accredited short film festival, Flickerfest, and is now screening at festivals internationally and Australia wide.
