M&C Saatchi Australia appoints Tiphereth Gloria to the newly-created social strategy director role

Tip Photo Crop.jpgM&C Saatchi has appointed Tiphereth Gloria (left), one of Australia’s foremost social media experts, to the newly-created role of social strategy director.

Gloria has more than 14 years at the vanguard of the digital and social space, both client and agencyside, accumulating a wealth of experience across social media strategy, search and social media optimisation, link strategy, content strategy and channel planning.

From 2010 she had three years as social media strategy manager at GPY&R and its VML and Ideaworks divisions.

Razorfish, Westpac and Leo Burnett are among other businesses to benefit from Gloria’s considerable skillset throughout her career.

As have a who’s who of national and international clients, including Microsoft Australia, Pepsi Australia, Revlon, Colgate, LG Australia, the NSW Government, the Australian Defence Force, Jagermeister, Aussie Home Loans, Network Nine and World Vision Australia.

In her spare time Gloria authors popular social media marketing and strategy blog digitaltip.com.au and is founding member of Social Media Club (@SMCSYD), the largest of its kind in the world. She is also a pundit on all things social, regularly quoted in the SMH and BRW and appearing on the likes of The Project and Sky News.

She will report to M&C Saatchi executive strategy director Gareth Cooper and sit within the agency’s strategy team.
