H&R accountants mine the Australian currency in new print work via JOY Sydney and Cirkus NZ
Sydney’s JOY Agency has commissioned Cirkus to execute its creative concepts for H&R Block, a tax preparation company.
H&R accountants “don’t miss a thing” so for this print campaign Joy and Cirkus settled on a 3D approach to be able to show great detail and texturing in the $1, $2 and 50c coins.
When viewers zoom into the three visuals they will find the tiny, suited up H&R accountants mining the Australian currency.

Print ads Ha ha ha ha
Are you sure you wanted to have open cut mines showing how we ravage our country especially over the face of an Aboriginal Elder. Not too sure they are the most appropriate of images.
Ps – get the idea of seeing inside, what the product is made out of etc etc
So awesomely 1999.
“when viewers zoom in”
Errrr.
You’re assuming that anyone will ever see these apart from an awards jury (possibly one that has a sweet spot for print ads that look like they’re from 15 years ago).
What a total fraud.
@are u sure, completely agree these ads send a pretty disturbing message about what Australia will do to its land for the sake of a dollar, or 50 cents. The irony is clearly been lost somewhere along the way. Would be better off running these to promote renewable energy.

But the 1990’s version.
Backie?
The stilted language in the press release says to me that the animation company submitted these not JOY. What I would like to know however is how busy JOY is, given it took a team of six creatives to come up with the coin idea. Six!
