Dentsu Aegis Network promotes Matthew Crook to CSO and CEO performance and data role

Dentsu Aegis Network Australia has today announced that Matthew Crook (left) has been promoted to chief strategy officer and CEO performance and data, Dentsu Aegis Network ANZ.

Crook’s new role sees him charged with working in conjunction with DAN ANZ CEO, Simon Ryan (right), on group strategic priorities and direction whilst maintaining his management across programmatic, performance, content and analytics for DAN.

As chief strategy officer, Crook will be spearheading DAN’s overarching direction as the group realises its digital 2020 vision, with a particular emphasis on client-focussed organisational design, strategic acquisitions, partnerships, group based data and analytical capabilities as well as working with the executive team and brand business leads to help them achieve their goals.

Says Ryan: “I have worked with Matt over a number of years now and I believe he is one of the smartest men in the industry. His knowledge of our group will have significant influence on our strategic priorities and coupled with his experience and understanding of analytics and data, he is going to play a pivotal role in DAN achieving its Digital 2020 vision.”
