Director/DOP Dan Max joins Eight
Eight has signed Dan Max for Australasian representation.
Max is a director/DOP with a visual narrative focus. With a background in stills photography, Max finds beauty in places and faces.
This soulful surfer from the North Island of New Zealand is the guy you want to go on the road with. A technician and an artist in equal measure, he’s inquisitive, thoughtful, clued up, hands on and solutions-focused. Simply put, he gets shit done.
Max’s competitive nature drives him to make the best out of any job. Big or small, he loves the challenge of a good creative brief. He’ll always go back to the seed of the idea in order to gain a deep understanding of the process before his engagement. Collaboration is a huge part of his world as a director and one of the reasons he loves his job.
