ninemsn’s stellar line up for the 2010 Digital Marketing Summit, Fast Forward Five (FFWD5), on November 17, has been boosted with Australia’s largest online publisher announcing the event will include an exciting new game show. Called Digital Showdown, the game show will determine Australia’s smartest person in digital media and marketing.

Digital Showdown’s format will be Millionaire Hot Seat meets The Weakest Link meets Jeopardy – it will be fast, furious and highly competitive. It will be hosted by the Nine Network’s Kerri-Anne Kennerley.

The country’s top agencies are currently deciding which staff member will best represent their brand. Those invited to participate include:

Carat

Mitchells Communication Group

Ikon

Group M

OMG -OMD/PHD

Vikaki

TMS

UM/Initiative

“Digital Showdown gives the agencies an opportunity to flaunt their digital knowledge and win fantastic prizes. The winner will secure a $200,000 ninemsn media buy and a $100,000 Nine Network media buy to donate to their charity of choice plus a trip to Cannes for the contestant,” said ninemsn CEO, Joe Pollard.

“We’re thrilled to be announcing Digital Showdown as another exciting element of the ninemsn Digital Marketing Summit’s line up. Some agencies are currently holding internal competitions to seek out the smartest nominee from within their business. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”

Fast Forward Five, an invitation only event hosted by ninemsn at Luna Park, will be attended by 500 senior marketing and media professionals as world-class speakers share their insights and predictions about digital media and marketing over the next five years.

Speakers will cover the future of multi-screen marketing, evolution of content, social networking, the digital consumer, mobility, search and advanced digital technologies.

As well as hearing from world-class speakers, delegates will also be treated to an immersive, interactive, futuristic experience to see what the digital world of culture, business and society will look like in the future.
