Bestads Top 6 of the Week – reviewed by Reed Collins, National CCO, The Campaign Palace

Best – Audi. There’s a lot of great work that’s been done for Audi over the years. And this is a wonderful addition. Very enjoyable to watch with plenty of special moments throughout. (P.S. I’ve been trying to use that song for ever. Bastards:)

Runnerup – Airtel. It’s hard to capture genuine human emotion but this seems to capture it just right. And even though it’s the ol’ telcom connections story it’s refreshing not to see a finger caressing a gratuitous product shot for once.

Best – Oxfam Vintage Fashion. A beautifully crafted idea here. The photography. The typography. And the philanthropy. Secondhand clothing never looked so shabby chic. Nor aided so many impoverished women across the globe.

Runnerup – Seriously, do I have to pick? O.k. Horse crap wins. L’Etudiant.fr it is. But only because I like horses.

Best – Cadbury. Love the idea of experiential outdoor. Have you seen david byrne play a frickin’ building? You must. It’s always great when you can touch an idea. Nice stuff. Even though the video was a tad long.

Runnerup – Alzheimer’s Society of B.C. Another video way too long film to get the point across. But at it’s core a very simple nice thought.

Best – Sony. This was an exquisite experience to click through. Even the ‘making of’ looked gorgeous. And in doing so made me believe the camera was too. Great simple story. Well done.

Runnerup – AEIOU Foundation. What a wonderful way to say it all by not saying a thing. Great to see what happens when you turn social media against itself. I’m shutting down now.
