MrsMacs_7.jpgAfter a review of a number of agency partners, Mrs Mac’s has appointed Meerkats, Perth as brand partner and creative agency with the incumbent Marketforce retaining digital project work.

Says Robert West, GM of Sales & Marketing at Mrs Mac’s: “We have been extremely pleased with the digital campaigns ‘Lean Meat Crusty Top’ and ‘The Crusty Challenge’, that Marketforce has delivered for us and we actually have another digital campaign currently in development by Marketforce.”

Says Merlilyn Elson, senior marketing manager for Mrs Mac’s: “The next stage of the Mrs Mac’s brand evolution is critical for the business. Meerkats clearly outlined that they have a strong track record in brand development, and we enjoyed their approach to getting to know us, and the Mrs Mac’s business.

“We have also appointed Painted Dog to assist us in strategically understanding our changing market and consumer.”

The initial task for the partnership will be refreshing the Mrs Mac’s brand. Says Meerkats managing director, Gavin Bain: “It’s an exciting challenge to help a national business like Mrs Mac’s to evolve their brand. We’ve enjoyed getting to know the team through the review process and look forward to helping the brand gain a greater share of the future together.”

Late last year Marketforce’s Mrs Mac’s videos attracted over a million hits on youtube, earning the honour of being the #1 most viewed video in Australia and the #2 most viewed video channel in Australia for the month of October.
