Presently over 55% of cinema screens in the Val Morgan Cinema Network have been digitised and they are being progressively networked. It is anticipated that over 80% of Australian cinema screens will be digitised by July 1.

The platform will facilitate the receipt of cinema advertising material from agencies and post-houses to Val Morgan and their swift onward distribution to Cinemas with all the critical data, ensuring the campaigns are properly quality assured and scheduled.

“This is tremendous news for advertisers and represents a major step change in our medium” said Damian Keogh, CEO of Val Morgan. “The new digital cinema network powered by Adstream will simplify and streamline the process of executing original and adapted cinema campaigns. Speed to screen will be dramatically shortened and production costs reduced, making our powerful Cinema medium even more attractive to advertisers.”

Adstream has for many years provided media distribution services across Television, Radio, Print and Outdoor to ad agencies in Australia, New Zealand and 23 other countries, in addition to its Workflow solutions.

“Cinema is such a potent medium, but production and execution has been challenging and costly. We look forward to simplifying that process, helping improve the appeal and drive growth in Cinema advertising.”
