and Robert De Niro.

According to Fast Company Magazine, “In Hollywood, there’s CAA and then there’s everybody else.”

Inglis, McCann and Elliott have spent the last ten days in Hollywood, meeting with their new agents as well as several top networks, studios and producers following their breakout success with ‘It’s A Snap!’ a digital short created for Perth’s Central Institute of Technology.

Last month, the two-minute short achieved over one million YouTube hits in one weekend and has been featured on US websites Time Magazine.com, The Huffington Post, Vancouver Sun, Reddit and Gizmodo who declared it “Best. Technical College. Ad. Ever”.

Celebrity fans include creator and executive producer for NBC television comedy series Community, Dan Harmon who introduced the trio to his writing team in LA on the weekend. Inglis and McCann are long time friends and collaborators who have been producing and starring in a series of ‘Henry & Aaron’ comedy shorts since 2007. In 2009, the writer/director pair teamed up with producer/publicist Elliott and founded Perth-based production company, Perfectly Adequate.

In January 2011, the trio won the inaugural Movie Extra Webfest for their ‘Henry & Aaron’ concept and marketing campaign, winning $50,000 to produce a 7-part web series.

‘Henry & Aaron’s 7 Steps to Superstardom’ debuted on YouTube and the Movie Extra channel in 2011 and to date has achieved over 200,000 YouTube hits and counting.

Inglis, McCann and Elliott will be back in Perth next week and are on the hunt for a Highgate or Mount Lawley production office space so they can start developing a half-hour ‘Henry & Aaron’ comedy series which they plan to pitch to both US and Australian networks.
