Beckham plays Beethoven’s Ode To Joy in new spot via Cheil USA to promote the Galaxy Note

In this new spot via Cheil USA, Samsung’s Olympic Games Ambassador David Beckham displays precise footwork with a 15-foot wall of drums, the GALAXY Note and the illustrative capabilities enabled by the S Pen.
The spot was directed by Jason Zada via US production company Tool.

I’m sure Mr Beckham is mortified by the misleading title of this commercial on YouTube and on this esteemed blog.
As he is of course aware, ‘Ode an die Freunde’ was actually written by the German poet Friedrich Schiller. Mr Van Beethoven then used the words to said Ode in the final movement of his final symphony.
Given the recent hoohaa over the Sober Monkeys failing to adequately give credit for certain musical adventures, I feel it is important to set the record straight and give Mr Schiller his due.
