ColinM-C_Blog.jpgMarketforce has announced the appointment of Colin Mackay-Coghill (pictured) to the new position of Senior Partner, boosting the credentials of the agency's account service team.

Mackay-Coghill is recognized as one of WA's most successful account directors. He has significant experience from working with clients such as the RAC, Peet, Bankwest and Water Corporation during a long career with The Brand Agency. He left Brand in mid-2010 and has been operating his own consultancy since then.

Marketforce chairman, John Driscoll, said he was delighted to welcome Mackay-Coghill.

"Colin is someone I have grown to respect over the years for his strong leadership and strategic contribution to clients. I look forward to working with him as a senior member of our management team."
In a week of changes, Head of Account Service, Rick Multari, has announced his decision to leave the agency to pursue other interests. Multari joined Marketforce at the end of 2010, returning to Perth after spending twelve years in various agencies internationally, including Saatchi & Saatchi in London and TBWA in Hong Kong.

Mitchell, Perth's #5 ranked creative in last year's CB Creative Rankings, joined from The Brand Agency in September last year.

Driscoll said "I would like to publicly acknowledge Matt and Mitch and compliment them on their great work produced while at Marketforce."

Mitchell and Hoar created the City of Perth campaign, which received decidedly mixed reviews on the CBWA Blog when it launched in March.
