New Homes Guide and The West Australian join forces to dominate the New Homes category

Comments (0) West Australian announced yesterday it had signed a Heads of Agreement to join forces with website, cementing the publisher's status as the go to destination for New Homes buyers.

"This agreement will enable us to build on our already dominant position in the new homes advertiser market" Sales director David Bignold said. "We are excited to work with the team at to further integrate the site with our printed product, which is a market leader".
Nick Sertis General Manager of Digital said "This relationship will quickly move us into a leadership position in the new homes online category and adds to our growing stable of online properties".

The newspaper inserted magazine New Homes appears in The Weekend West, and reaches over 744,000* readers each week. The integration of the press and print product will give a significant traffic boost to, with The West Australian focusing on promoting the site through its stable of products.

"It will be great to leverage off The West's valuable assets to further drive traffic to" Troy McGuinness, General Manger of Page One Advertising, the agency responsible for the site, said. "We have already seen strong growth in traffic since launching in October, with very positive feedback from builders. This partnership will amplify this growth and deliver great returns for advertisers."

The site, which works on a subscription model, has 30 builders on board with more in the pipeline. There is no third party display advertising on the site, meaning a clean and simple user interface. Builders have access to an admin area where they can log in to upload and amend their listings, as well as viewing detailed reports on views, clicks and enquiries.

The site has multiple new release and developments road mapped for the future.
