Will Perth agencies pick up anything at the Cannes Lions? With just two weeks to go here's 303Lowe and The Brand Agency's best chances. Is there anything else from Perth that has a chance?

'Enjoy the Ride' is an innovative approach to a critical issue on our roads - speed. Instead of rolling out the same shock and gore road safety campaigns, 303Lowe Perth presented a positive message about the benefits of slow.

The IKEA catalogue is an institution. People anticipate its arrival, get excited about it, read it and then often throw it away. 303Lowe wanted it to stay in the home and have pride of place. But, with living costs increasing 303Lowe figured it only fair that IKEA should pay rent for the space it occupies, through monthly rent cheques redeemable in-store.

Heading to and from the most isolated city in the world, there are some very long, lonely roads. On the isolated Bunbury highway going to the south coast, The Brand Agency Perth, produced this poster to remind people of the benefits of the availability of RAC's Roadside Assistance.

To coincide with temperatures hitting 42 degrees in Perth at this time of year, RAC Roadside Assistance, via The Brand Agency, Perth has produced this special build, 3D poster on the remote Forrest Highway to remind motorists of the drawback of not being an RAC member.

Motorists believe that modern cars don't break down so the agency needed to confront them with the facts. In a series of small space ads the agency used the newspaper's page numbers to highlight, each time, a different breakdown statistic. For example, 19 flat tyres every day (page 19), 27 faulty fuses every week (page 27) and so on.

IKEA has good shot after D&AD, those results can be a big influence on judges.
Enjoy the Ride will be an interesting one. It cleaned up locally in the face of little or no competition then went on to pick up bronze at Award. Since then it doesn't seem too have resonated with the international panels at the other big international shows.
Hopefully for all involved it will make a come back as it's a great piece of work.
