Entry is free.

Videos are optional for Marketer of the Year, but Creative of the Year entries require a video to accompany their idea.

ADMA will fly the Young Marketer and Young Creative of the Year to New York in 2013 on an all-expenses-paid trip to meet with leading marketing companies and agencies including Google Creative Lab, OgilvyOne Worldwide, Anomaly and others.

The competition asks contenders to present their best marketing or creative talents and demonstrate what makes them stand out in the Direct Marketing crowd. Young Marketer will be judged on their career achievements to date, and Young Creative on demonstrating they have ‘the stuff’ through a campaign concept to promote the awards in 2013.

The winning idea will be rolled out nationally next year.

State winners will be announced on 24 August at ADMA Forum 2012 and the overall winners announced on 1 November at the ADMA Awards.

Says Nick Adams, head of One-to-One marketing: “ADMA’s revitalisation of the awards and its focus on the development of emerging talent in the industry is vital to ensure that we can grow the talent pool and recognise our high performers. Telstra’s support for the awards and ADMA is an affirmation of the important role that ADMA has in shaping, defining and being the voice of our industry. There is a real sense of renewal, energy and enthusiasm at ADMA and the revitalised awards is a manifestation of the great work they are doing.”
