PADC Awards Call for Entries goes 'live' on Monday, Aug 6 and closes Wednesday Aug 15. Awards presentation Friday, November 2
There's been a lot going on in the last few months behind the scenes at the PADC, and we'd like to bring you up to date with what we have been up to.The Committee has been hard at work putting together the brand new PADC website. This is now live and will feature a new online entry system for this year's awards. On top of that, there will be an award archive section. This will allow members to view winning work, including audio and video, from 2011 onwards. Plus you will be able to RSVP to events as well as pay for them online. So make sure you check out www.padc.com.au soon.
If you want to enter this year's awards, the call for entries will be going live on Monday 6th August, and will close at noon on Wednesday 15th August. So mark these dates in your diary, and try and get your work in early.

One event that our members seem to get a lot out of is the Festival of
Ideas. This year will be no exception. The dates for the 2012 festival
are locked in for Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th September, and this year
it's going to be bigger and better than ever. We have a brand new venue
that can only be described as 'scarily good' and an impressive list of
national and international keynote speakers. More news will be revealed
nearer the event, but in the meantime make sure you keep these dates
free.
Finally, the 2012 PADC Awards Night has been set for Friday 2nd November. This year it will be held at the prestigious State Reception Centre at Fraser's in King's Park.
The theme for the night is 'The Quest for the Golden Skull' and we feel the panoramic views of the city lights will be the perfect backdrop to a night of glitz, glamour and hopefully gold. Your mission is to mark the date in your diary.
