Perth Radio Survey 5/2012: Mix 94.5 back on top

After the excitement of Survey 4 the Nielsen Metro Radio Survey 5, 2012 released this morning shows Perth has returned to more established patterns.

96fm's reign at #1 People 10+ was short-lived, dropping to #3 behind Southern Cross Austereo stations Mix 94.5 and 92.9.

It was a welcome result for Mix94.5 after disappointing results in the previous two surveys. It posted solid gains across all demographics and sessions, with The Bunch increasing its share at the top of Breakfast (commercial stations).

While 96fm lost ground, it was a good survey for AM stablemate 6PR, with gains in all sessions and 6 of 7 demos.
