Working within a close-knit team, we are searching for a passionate individual, with a positive and mature outlook, who is driven by achieving targets and offering innovative and client focused advertising solutions.

As a commercially minded sales professional of the highest calibre, your ability to build and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and influence buy-in will ensure that you leverage all possible revenue opportunities to meet your monthly targets.

As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate the following attributes:
  • Preferably Degree Qualified in Marketing, Business or a related discipline
  • A desire to be in a fast-paced role that combines and fully utilises your strategic, commercial and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to ask leading questions which can provoke quality conversations, both with your team members, current and potential merchants.
  • Have the big picture in mind when hunting down a deal, always considering the longer term implications of the conversation, the sale and relationship at hand.
  • Be a passionate advocate for deal making, demonstrating genuine passion and desire to close a deal which benefits the merchant, customer and Scoopon.

Reporting directly to the Vice Chancellor, the Chief Communications Officer will provide strategic leadership, direction and advice across a range of areas including Strategic Marketing and Communications, Brand and Image, Alumni Relations, Student Recruitment, Development (Fundraising) and Community Relations.

You will possess significant experience and come from a formal functional area such as Marketing or Journalism, having broadened your skills across marketing, publicity and communications. You will have an understanding of segmentation, tuning of messages and media choice as well as practical experience with Information Communication Technologies and traditional media.
