RAC launches State Election campaign to highlight road and public transport infrastructure issues, road safety and the cost of motoring
The campaign, created by JWT Perth, will focus on the three key policy areas of congestion (road and public transport infrastructure), road safety and the cost of motoring.
The RAC will monitor and analyse each political party's transport and road safety election commitments and the interactive website, www.givemetime.com.au will document the progress.
Give Me Time also asks the public to add their voice to the congestion debate by voting for the issues they want addressed.

The campaign launched with an interactive event at the Australia Day Skyshow. Digital screens on both the north and south foreshores captured the views and opinions of the crowds to drive consumer interest in the campaign.
The support campaign will be fully integrated, working across digital, radio, press, DM, social, out of home and large format outdoor channels, in both metro and regional markets.
The RAC has outlined its priorities for the election as:
- Any increases in motoring costs and charges are kept at or below the rate of inflation.
- A bigger focus on tackling congestion through an integrated and funded strategy of road, public transport and cycling projects.
- A new rescue helicopter based in the State's south-west.
- The use of Royalties for Regions funding to improve the safety of dangerous country roads.
- A renewed commitment to efforts to reduce deaths and serious injuries on WA roads.
